I find this collection to be very close in many aspects to Style Black. I feel that Style Black was a bit more on the edgy side nd this one is more tame. However, an arguement can't even really be made for this collection being more mainstream or easier to wear than the MAC one since black makeup (especially lip products) have never been considered conservative or very easy to wear. I guess that I like this collection because it might be easier for me to update my look by working one or two products from here into it. I love the Eye Shadow Quad and the newest shade of Le Vernis, I could make either of those work with my current makeup products. I am curious about the eyeliner shade and how a black red shade of liner would look when applied. I will have to get to the counter to play with that one. As with Style Black, none of the lip colours are for me so I will pass on those.
On a side note, I said in the beginning of the post that I wasn't sure if this is the Holiday collection or not. I have an answer to that question, it's not so Chanel will be releasing a another collection very soon if this one wasn't so appealing to you.
