The Urban Decay website states the following about this new lip gloss. "You want a super-shiny gloss, but can't stand the sticky texture, right? Wait till you feel the soft, cushiony texture of this gloss! Lip Junkie stays on longer than other glosses, but never feels gummy or gooey. It comes in a range of pretty amazing shades (if we do say so ourselves), and the color payout is amazing. Take your pick from sheer pretty neutral, kick-ass brights, or glimmering near-black. And the flavor? Think yummy wedding mints... a sweet mint with a little zing that makes breath feel fresh. Our bonus ingredient, Maxi-Lip, even plumps lips and average of 40% when used daily for a month. (Maxi-Lip is a non-irritant plumping ingredient that doesn't sting or inflame your lips like other short-term plumpers can.) Our superstar ingredient can actually help your lips become better defined, super hydrated, and full. YES, PLEASE! Our sleek gloss tube is molded, not crimped, no more worrying about lip gloss explosions in your bag. (Finally!) We finished it off with a soft angled tip that lays down a smooth, precise application without mess. This gloss will hook even you jaded junkies."
Here are the shades that we have to choose from...
- Crush - bright hot pink
- Heavy - dark neutral
- Jilted - deep pink sparkle
- Love Junkie - sheer dark red
- Midnight Cowboy - sheer nude sparkle
- Midnight Cowboy - sheer nude sparkle
- Naked - pinky neutral
- Peroxide - light pink
- Perversion - sheer black sparkle
- Red-Light - bright pinky-red
- Runaway - medium peach shimmer
- Wallflower - nude creamy pink
I am hoping that Runaway is close to the old Lip Gunk shade Burn Out, I finished off my tuber several months ago and it hasn't been available in years. Otherwise, this really looks like a lip gloss that I end up buying several of. I like the promise of no stickiness, since I hate when it get caught in my hair. The shades that I like the most are Love Junkie, Midnight Cowboy, Naked, Peroxide, Runaway, and Wallflower.
