MAC A Tartan Tale Chapter 1: Lip, Eye, and Face Kits

Today we are going to work on the palettes that MAC is offering this season. This are among my favorite gifts to give and get among my groups on friends. I love the fact that all of the palettes in this collection have tartan plaid cases, I am such a sucker for packaging and this collection really draws me in with its packaging. MAC has released collections of both palettes and bags containing products. First we are doing the kits from this collection.

Now I'm sure what part of this overall collection is my favorite, I love the Colour collection and now I love these palettes too. I am already making some mental gift lists for my friends with this collection. For myself, I am interested in the Happily Ever After Lip Kit, the 6 Dashing Lassies Eye Shadow Kit, 6 Reelers & Rockers Eye Shadow Kit, 6 Twists of Tartan Eye Shadow Kit, 6 Beauties Play It Cool Eye Shadow Kit, and the Hark the Heraldry Face Kit. I missed the Oh So Fair Beauty Powder the first time around and I am happy that I can get it this time around. If I have to narrow it down, my favorite product is the 6 Beauties Play It Cool Eye Shadow Kit, I love the silvers, lavenders, and plums in this palette.
