Lancome Holiday 2010 Collection - L'Wren Scott Color Collection

Lancome's latest collection is one of the smallest that I have ever seen from this company, it's only four product instead of the usual fifteen or more that I have come to expect from this company. This little color collection was made in collaboration with designer and stylish L'Wren Scott, who has recently contributed designs for Madonna's 2009 W shoot with model Jesus Luz. Nothing from Lancome has really been catching my eye lately so maybe this collection will give me a reaason to drop by the counter soon.

Here is the new collection...

L'Absolu Creme de Brillance Par L'Wren Scott - A satin texture infused with lip-soothing active ingredients (Pro-Xylane, Hyaluronic Acid) for replenished and lastingly moisturized lips. This luxurious cream gloss is available for a limited period in L'Wren Scott's special shade of red.

Ombre Absolute Palette Par L'Wren Scott - L'Wren Scott reinterprets smoky eyes... Her perfect color harmony? Two subtly shimmering medium grays highlight the eyelid, while a hint of silver opens up eyes with a touch of light. A slate shade is then used as a liner to enhance the eye contour. A quad of sleek, long-lasting, radiant eye shadows are beautifully showcased in a one-off collector's case signed by the designer.

Le Vernis Par L'Wren Scott - A must have product... Mini Vernis in 020 Le Rouge L'Wren adorns nails in a deep red enhanced with ruby shimmer. L'Wren Scott's emblematic shade is captured in Mini Vernis in 021 Le Gris d'Wren. Originally developed exclusively as the finishing touch for the designer's Fall-Winter 2010/2011 runway look, this unique it-shade is now available to all afficinonados of high-fashion manicures.

L'Absolu Rouge Par L'Wren Scott - L'Wren Scott coats Lancome's most voluptuous lipstick in her most cherished colour. L'Absolu Rouge in 176 Le Rouge L'Wren is created, for one season only, in a collector's case adorned with L'Wren's initials.

I like this whole collection but if I had to pick my favorite items, I would pick the new lipstick shade, the eye shadow quad, and the gray shade of the nail polish. This is very typical holiday collection with the reds and silvers but at leat this time of the year I get to pick the best reds of the whole group and try all of them out.
