"Master perfumers have blended juicy guava, sparkling pear, and creamy vanilla musk to create this positively sexy fragrance inspired by taking chances, having fun, and savoring life's fabulous moments. This fragrance is a softer sexy and my not be as strong but is the easiest of all the fragrances to wear and subtly flirts instead of being in-your-face sexy, I normally wear very strong fragrances so this is different type of fragrance for me.
The top notes of the fragrance are: Juicy Guava, Crisp Apple, Sparkling Pear, Succulent Red Berries. The heart notes are: Peony Petals, Soft Jasmine, Lily of the Valley, Coconut Milk. The base notes are: Apricot Skin, Creamy Vanilla, Praline, Sandalwood, Addictive Musk. This is one of the few fragrances that the major notes are from the top and bottom and not the heart notes, I find this fragrance very interesting since most fragrances contain the middle notes as the most important notes in the fragrance.
So far, I have only tried this fragrance in the body lotion and the EDT. The body lotion was sent to me by a PR company last week and I have been layering it with a plain Guava shower gel from Korres and so far I have been loving it. To add to my obsession, I sprayed on the EDT in the store and for the rest of the day people kept telling me how great I smelled, it was a great sweet, semi-vanilla fragrance that was both soft and noticeable at the same time. I can't wait to head back to the store and pick up both the EDT and Shower Gel to match the lotion that I was sent.
So far this fragrance is availabe in the following forms: EDT, Body Spray, Shower Gel, Body Lotion, Shimmer Spray, Dial-A-Shimmer Lotion, and the Triple Moisture Body Cream. In addition to the full size body products, this fragrance comes in the small travel sized products too.
This fragrance is also available in a matching lip gloss, like many of the recent Bath and Body Works releases have been. "Charmed Life Lip Gloss is a fun and flirty gloss that compliments our Signature Collection Charmed Life fragrance! The pink shimmer in this gloss is the perfect accessory to her favorite outfit!" The fragrance on this gloss is more vanilla cupcake than the fruit and vanilla mix of the fragrance itself and the pink shimmer is very pale and very sheer. I was hoping that this shade would be closer to that of the Paris Amour gloss but it is almost completely clear and shimmery.
The newest product in this collection is the matching Pocketbacs, so far Bath and Body Works has never introduced Pocketbacs that matches a new fragrance release. I love these Pocketbacs and I nearly died when I saw then at the store. There are three versions of them; Dance til' Dawn, Wink at a Stranger, and Splurge on Shoes; all of which have the exact same Charmed Life fragrance. I need to buy these right along with the body products.
So many of the new fragrances from Bath and Body Works have been winners lately and I have adding tons of them to my fragrance collection. My top choices are the EDT, the Shower Gel, the Triple Moisture Body Cream, and a slew of the fun Pocketbacs. This will be a great fragrance to go out in this fall and it will take me all the way through the holidays. On a last note - I just LOVE the polka dot bottle of the EDT!
