The summer collections are basically over with for the year, several companies didn't really release a separate summer collection and tend to wait until fall to bring out their next big collection. I can understand why not every company will bring out a separate collection, I tend to spend most of my beauty products money on the products for the spring and fall and then only pick up a few new lip and eye shades throughout the summer and early winter months. And it goes without saying that every company wants to bring special products out for the holidays since this is the time of the year that I buy more beauty product gifts than ever before. One of the beauty items that I buy all year and update every single season is nail polish and therefore I decided that our last summer collection should be the one that I know that I will buy several products from this summer. And that is the newest collection from China Glaze!
The new summer collection from this company is named Sunsational and is a series of super funky bright hues for the summer months. I love bright shades in the summer, especially pinks and aquas and I have been buying shades like this since the middle of April. I am excited to add a few more of these shades to my collection before I start picking up jewel tones to go into the fall months.
This collection appears to be range of shades, all of which are bright hues with cream finishes. I do not like brights with shimmer or glitter finish as they can go from pretty to tacky very quickly and are rarely suitable for manicures.
Here are the shades in the newest collection from China Glaze!
- Sun of a Peach - true peach cream
- Shell-o - bright magenta cream
- Neon and On and On - bright salmon pink cream
- Bottoms Up - bright lilac cream
- That's Shore Bright - bright periwinkle cream
- Too Yacht Too Handle - bright aqua cream
- Keepin' It Teal - medium deep aqua cream
- Isle See You Later - bright robins egg blue cream
- Are You Jelly? - cool bright purple cream
- You Drive Me Coconut - warm bright purple cream
- Highlight of My Summer - cool mint green cream
- Heat Index - bright fuchsia pink cream
My favorite shade is actually the bright lilac cream from this collection, I don't own any shade like Bottoms Up and I really want to try a completely different type of bright hue. I don't know that I have even really seen many shades like this, this is one is just so different that I must buy it the next time that I order from Ulta. That's Shore Bright is another favorite of mine for the same reason, I love the bright periwinkle shade and it would fill a hole in my collection too. I have loves in both of the teal shades, I want to order both even though neither of them is very different from the shades that I already own. I use teal shades so much and get so many compliments of them and I know that I would get lots of use from these shades. From the pinks, I want Shell-o and Heat Index, I was hoping for shades that were different from the typical bright pink and I am not disappointed by this collection.
We have about a month until we start hearing about fall and I will taking that time to try a bunch of new products out. I always try out a bunch of fragrances and body products in the summer and I will be reporting back with my thoughts and then we will begin heading into the fall collections by the end of June!

MAC Temperature Rising - Bronzing Collection
Temperature Rising is finally up on the MAC website and I have been looking forward to this collection since the very beginning of the summer collections! This collection is the big MAC summer release and will follow in a long line of top notch MAC summer collections, I still say that Hey, Sailor! and To The Beach are two of my favorite color collections of all time and I still have products from these collections that I use very often. My last Lipglass from To The Beach is almost finished and I am so depressed about this, I will use this bright pink lip gloss until the very last drop is gone and then I will go right out and try to find another Lipglass that is similar. I am hopeful that I find a shade like this is in the Temperature Rising collection as this would make my life much easier.
This collection is so large that MAC has divided it up into two collections, one with the bronzing products in it and the other with the color collection in it. This is very typical of big MAC collections and I haven't yet decided which part of the collection that I am the most excited about. I am going to start with the Bronzing part of the collection since I have been waiting to finalize my choice of another bronzer formula until this collection was released. My current favorite bronzer formula was from last year's big summer release and I trust any formula of bronzer that MAC releases.
"The heat is on with summer's sensual collection of rich, golden bronzers sure to make temperatures rise. M•A•C Bronzing Powder illuminates with gorgeous highlights, while Bronzing Oil's botanical blend lavishes skin with moisture. Pro Longwear Bronzing Powder provides a stunning sheen all evening long, and Strobe Liquid flashes a sexy afterglow."
I am so excited for this collection, both the Bronzing and the Color parts. In the Bronzing part of the collection, I am looking for another formula of powder bronzer to love and perhaps a pretty highlighter to complement my bronzed skin when getting dressed up. We shall see what else I find too...
Here is the Bronzing Collection from Temperature Rising!
Temperature Rising Bronzing Powder - A lightly frosted, tinted powder that gives sheer, natural colour effects and highlights. Ideal to enhance and strengthen a tan. Packaged in a limited-edition soft touch bronze compact.
- Soft Sand - golden bronze with fine gold pearl
- Refined Golden - finely spun golden with soft pearl finish
Strobe Liquid - Blending soft-focus diffusers with iridescent pigments, this ultra-fluid strobe formula produces a soft, radiant light on the skin, reducing the appearance of skin imperfections by providing a natural-looking glow. Refreshing. Spreads on smoothly and absorbs quickly. Leaves the skin looking healthier and more radiant. A lighter-weight addition to the popular Strobe Cream.
- Golden Elixir - natural golden glow
Bronzing Oil - A shimmering body oil formulated to bring a sheer sheen and sexy gleam to skin. Soothing, naturally emollient. Its fusion of three botanical oils helps soften, smooth and moisturize skin. Limited-edition.
- Man Rays - glowing tan with multi-dimensional gold shimmer
167SE Face Blender - A full, fluffy, dome-shaped brush of ultra-soft , black natural fibres perfect for the lightweight application and blending of face powders, highlighters and bronzers. Luxurious soft-touch, bronze, short-handle design. Limited-edition.
Temperature Rising Makeup Bag - A rich, metallic bronze makeup bag inspired by this summer's sensual colour and bronzing collection. Flat, rectangular-shaped bag with black rope strap and magenta lining. Zipper on main enclosure and outside pocket. Oil slick, Soft-touch polyurethane material. 8.75" x 5 inches". Limited-edition. Pro discount is not applicable.
I was hoping that this part of the collection would be a bit larger, I would like to have more bronzing options to choose from. I actually already own the Bronzing Powder, this is the exact same formula and choice of shades that MAC offered last summer in Hey, Sailor!. I already love this formula so I will continue to use my compact of it throughout the summer but I was hoping to see another formula that I could choose from, I remember that the same versions were offered last summer and it would have been nice if MAC would have introduced a product that we had never seen before. I would be lying if I said that I was happy with the bronzer choices in their big summer collection.
If I was running low on the bronzer formula from this collection then I would be all about it being released again. However I am not and I wanted to try another formula of bronzer so this is not the collection that I was hoping that it would be. These are the exact same products that MAC introduces every single summer and I want to see something new and different.

OPI Summer 2013 Collection - Couture de Minnie
Last year, OPI launched a collection with Disney that was inspired by Minnie Mouse and all the fame that has been built up around her over the past few decades. This collection became an instant best-seller and every display that I visited was empty. I don't feel that the shades were unique enough on their own to inspire such love and devotion so they must all have been bought by Minnie Mouse lovers. It seems that any collection from OPI that teams up great nail polish shades and movies/pop culture always sells out faster than any other collection. Last year's Minnie Mouse collection was a collection of solid pink hues and then one over the top pink glitter top coat. I seem to remember that the top coat was the biggest hit of the collection and I am sure that OPI will bring another one (or perhaps two or three) out with the collection this year!
The Minnie Mouse collections are always about pink shades and are super girly, a look that I am all about this spring and summer. I have said it before but I will say it again, I used to hate pink polish shades until about a year ago and now I just can't get enough of them. I keep adding more and more pink shades to my collection and am always on the lookout for them in every single polish line that I have ever shopped from. I already bought a few new pinks this spring and now I want even more, I will have to get to Ulta quickly since I know this collection will sell out within the first week of it being put on display. I see three traditional finish polishes in this collection and then I see both a glitter and a Liquid Sand finish. I have never liked the Liquid Sand finish and I know that I can already rule one shade out from this collection but I will find at least two or three shades from this line up of pinks that I will want immediately.
Here are the shades in the Couture de Minnie collection!
- Minnie Style - This red and white glitter is the height of fashion.
- Chic From Ears to Tail - This pop of bubblegum pink is totally fabulous!
- Innie Minnie Mighty Bow - Catch this crimson by the toe!
- A Definite Moust-Have - This fantastic fuchsia is at the top of my shopping list!
- Magazine Cover Mouse - The headline-making strawberry has sparkling texture.
Chic From Ears to Tail is my favorite shade even though it is not the most unique pink that I have ever seen. This is the perfect bubblegum pink cream and I will wear this shade all summer on my nails and toes, I want to use this shade in a manicure and then do a deeper pink with similar undertones on my toe nails. This shade is very similar to one of my current favorite lipsticks, MAC Sheen Supreme in Behave Yourself and I love creating elegant looks with matching my lips and nails. A Definite Moust-Have is my second choice in this collection, I could take this deeper fuchsia shade all through summer and then into the fall months. These are the only two shades that I must have from this collection, I could easily skip over the glitter hue and the Liquid Sand hue. Innie Minnie Mighty Bow is a pretty red hue but Hey Sailor from China Glaze is basically the exact same shade and I already own a bottle of it.
I heard rumors of another summer collection that will be arriving soon...a tie in with the Bond girls!

Giorgio Armani Summer 2013 Collection
We have gone through many summer collections already but we still have quite a few to look at yet. We are getting closer and closer to my birthday and my birthday shopping list is getting longer and longer as each day goes by and I still have not yet decided what I will be doing on my birthday, I am considering going beauty product shopping at King of Prussia. I have loved every other birthday that I have taken the day to go beauty product shopping at my wonderful mall, I considered New York City but this one will be very weather-depending. Based on my train of thought, I wanted to look at a collection today that I cannot get around where I live and I have decided to check out the summer collection from Giorgio Armani Beauty.
I have wanted to try products from this line for quite a bit now, especially the foundations, bronzers, and blushes (three types of products that I really prefer to try on before purchase and tend to not purchase online unless I know the brand very well already.), I think that I am the most excited to try out foundation shades and see if all the hype around the face products from Giorgio Armani Beauty is true. I never see a list of top rated beauty products without at least one of these products at the top of it and now I want to see what I have been missing out on.
On first glance of the summer collection...there are only two products in this collection and neither of them catches my eye right away. I might find myself skipping over the whole seasonal collection and focus more on the traditional product line up and look for makeup staples. I see a lip gloss formula that I have never seen before in this collection and then a bronzer compact. I am always excited for lip gloss and have been shopping for a new bronzer for a few weeks now so maybe I will find some hits in this collection.
Here is the summer collection from Giorgio Armani Beauty!
Bronze All-Over Palette - Inspired by pleated lamé, this allover bronzer is this summer's must-have. Use all over for a sun-illuminated complexion. This bronzer palette contains stripes of multiple bronze hues and would blend together for the perfect medium bronze glow.
Flash Lacquer Crystal Shine Gloss - Giorgio Armani premieres the newest generation in lip gloss with Flash Lacquer. Flash Lacquer provides the highest reflection ever achieved, even after blotting lips. The shape and shine technology causes light to reflect off of every point of surface for a pure pop of color. This lip gloss is available in a range of shades.
This might be one of my least favorite collections of the summer, there is nothing in this collection that inspires my love. The descriptions provided by the company are not the best and do nothing to sell me on any of the products, I would like to try both of the products in it but I am interested in finding out more information about them before I would really want either of them.
I will still plan to check out this beauty product line if I go shopping on my birthday but I still think that I will stick with my original plan of checking out foundations and other staple items.

Clinique Summer 2013 Collection - 5 Minutes to Pretty
The Clinique summer collection seems to be very different then all of the others that we have looked at so far, this collection is called 5 Minutes to Pretty and is all about using products that create an easy, laid back look for the relaxed warm weather months. I love this concept since I wear about half of the face makeup in the summer than I normally do throughout the rest of the year. I give up foundation for about three months of the year and switch from a loose powder to a BB Cream and a bronzer. In addition, I am more concerned with SPF protection than a flawless finish and use a combination of self tanner and bronzer to even out and cover up any flaws on my face. This is the only time of the year that I can truly create a full makeup look in less than ten minutes, a fact that comes in handy when running around in the summer months.
I have been using a lot of Clinique sun care and skincare products over the past few months and am at the point that I wouldn't hesitate to purchase any product from this line. I have a mascara from this line sitting in my Sephora cart and I want to try some of the lip crayons that I saw the last time that I was at counter. This is quickly becoming a brand that I can fully rely on and is a favorite skincare brand of mine already. I am also excited to try some of their BB and CC creams yet this summer/early fall.
"Streamlining your makeup routine is even more important when sunny weather's calling. Here's a look you can create fast - without any fuss.", states the Clinique website when providing a description of the collection. This collection contains only five products and will be very easy for anyone to create for work or a vacation day. I see the CC Cream in this collection, along with a pretty pink hue of the lip crayon that I am so excited to try!
5 Minutes to Pretty!
Moisture Surge CC Cream Hydrating Corrector Broad Spectrum SPF 30 - One simple step for glowing skin. Lightweight formula instantly colour corrects a range of complexion concerns - redness, dullness, sallowness - so all you see is a healthy-looking glow. Oil-free hydration and sunscreen mean a more flawless look tomorrow, too. Each versatile shade is appropriate for a range of skin tones and undertones. Available in a full range of shades to complement every skintone.
Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes - Sheer wash of lightweight, creamy colour slips on. Layerable and long-wearing. Versatile, too. Glide one on for a swift wash of colour. Contour with another to add depth, and yet another to highlight. There's no need to stop at just one. Appropriate for sensitive eyes and contact lens-wearers.
- 04 Ample Amber - medium bronze with a hint of shimmer
Naturally Glossy Mascara - Gel-based formula defines lashes naturally. Lengthens, glosses, enhances. Lashes stay silky, pliant, clump and flake-free through multiple coats. Ophthalmologist tested.
- Jet Black - deep glossy black
True Bronze Pressed Powder Bronzer - Lightweight powder bronzer creates a natural-looking, sun-kissed radiance. Blends, builds easily to your desired level of bronze. Perfect for on-the-go glow. Long-wearing. Oil-free.
- Sunswept - warm bronze with flecks of gold pearl
- Sunkissed - pink bronze
- Sunblushed - reddened bronze
Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Color Balm - Super-nourishing balm is loaded with mango and shea butters. Just what dry, delicate lips need to feel comfortably soft and smooth. Sixteen natural-looking lip tints in all, each with a subtle sheen.
- Woppin' Watermelon - bright sheer pink
I want this whole collection and I will be picking most of it up very soon, my favorite pieces are the CC Cream and the Chubby Stick Balm in that pretty pink hue. Those are the two items that I must have and I will buy them first, I have heard many good things about this formula of CC Cream for drier skin (as we all know that mine is!) and I will consider picking this up in a shade that is more tan for now and then another shade that is much lighter to use in the cool weather months (when my skin is at its worse). I have high hopes for this formula and I hope to add another winner to my Clinique product line up.
I think that I have used this bronzer in the past, I seem to remember getting a small size of it in a Gift with Purchase about two years ago and I do remember liking the formula. I looked back on some previous entries and I did really like this formula and the shade that I had (Sunkissed). This bronzer hue has a pink undertone in it and worked well to compliment my cooler skintone and blended well with the pink undertones in my skin. This was one of the most flattering shades of bronzer that I have ever used and I might have to pick a compact of this product instead of continuing to search for a new formula...
I think that this might be one of my favorite collections for the summer, it is pretty and easy to pull off. Any lady could use these products and create a simple look that will get her through a summer day. I also really like that Clinique is creating looks that contain fewer products since it has been proven that most women wear less and less makeup as the weather gets warmer and warmer...

Essie Summer 2013 Collection - Naughty Nautical
I have been slowly switching over all of my nail polishes to summer brights and I am excited to buy even more shades of polish before my big birthday celebration in two weeks. I have looked at a bunch of collections so far and since the newest from China Glaze has not come out yet, I have decided to check out the latest collection from Essie. Essie is not my favorite nail polish formula but I still like to check out the colors every season, this a good line for colors that I will only wear for a day or night. I have not had the best track record with this formula for staying on and not chipping for more than two or three days so I am more likely to find the most unique colors in this line that I would only wear to match one or two items in my closet. I think that I want another bright aqua shade for summer and this is a collection that I could easily find one in.
The next collection from Essie is named Naughty Nautical and contains six new shades, three of which are more pale and the rest of which are brights. Two of the pales are more unique and each of the brights are pretty unique so I see that this collection has some potential for me. I have a favorite Lilly Pulitzer dress that I am always on the lookout for shades to match perfectly and I spy some great hues in this line up.
The first quote about this collection is from the founder of the Essie line of polishes. "Sound the bell, I've been Naughty Nautical." More information is included with the full collection description, "Want to make fashion waves? Embark on a chic color adventure in maritime pastels - delicately sparkling lights and ultra soft brights that whisper easy elegance. Cruise into summer with the nail collection that's totally ship shape."
Here are the new shades in the Naughty Nautical collection!
Full Steam Ahead - Take the helm and embark on a fantastic voyage. This medium toned lilac nail polish with a pearlescent punch steers you in style.
Rock the Boat - Now's your chance to make some stylish waves. This simmering nail polish in french blue makes a splash every time.
The More the Merrier - An oceanside bungalow is the perfect spot for a party and this juicy lime green nail polish. Luxe loves company!
Naughty Nautical - Sail the sexy seas and chart a course for adventure in this shimmering brilliant blue-green nail polish. Naughty never looked so nice.
The Girls are Out - You've got nothing to hide with this soft fuchsia peony nail polish infused with subtle sparkle.
Sunday Funday - Turn everyday into a ridiculously good time with this beautiful, tangerine crush coral nail polish with soft shimmer.
Naughty Nautical is my early favorite of the collection, it reminds me very much of Butter London's Slapper (which I currently lover and have no idea how I lived without it before ordering it from Sephora's Friends and Family Sale) with a hint of shimmer. This will be a great pedicure shade for the summer months and I am so looking forward to finding this shade at Ulta. This is the only shade that I must own from this collection however I would be more than happy to own a bunch of the other shades. This might be the best chance for me to buy a green nail polish shade this summer, The More the Merrier is a pretty green and I would try to match it up with a favorite sundress of mine. I would also like the The Girls are Out, I have shades that I similar to this however they are either cream or almost a full out glitter finish and this one would be a happy medium. Another great pedicure shade and depending on how deep this color is, I could use it into the early stages of fall. Rock the Boat is the last shade that I want from this collection, I love pale blues as much as I love bright blues and the shimmer on this one makes it unique.
This is good collection for some fun shades for summer, I don't really turn to this line of polishes for core shades as the formula doesn't last long enough on me to use on a regular basis (especially if I don't have time to change my polish every other day), I can't wait for more blue hues for the summer and I found one that I must have in this collection!

Urban Decay Summer 2013 Collection
Yesterday we looked at my early favorite collection of the summer, today we are looking at a collection that has me so disappointed that I actually considered just ignoring its existence and passing over it. I decided against that course of action and we will quickly look at the very small and unexciting summer collection from Urban Decay, a brand that I truly love and have loved for years. Normally, I buy several products every single season from this brand however I have been falling off in my purchases from them lately and I was hoping for some really strong new products that would bring me back to them. I have been using and loving their Beauty Balm lately and it has made this type of product a new favorite of mine and I still use one of their many eye shadow palettes at least three or four times a week. This company really seems to have dropped the ball on this summer collection, it contains a few new shades of eye makeup and then one face product. There is not a lip or nail polish shade in the bunch and none of the new shades seem to be much fun...
Even odder than the lack of product assortment is some of the shades that have come out with this collection, typically Urban Decay's summer collection is all about bright and fun shades to wear out at night and for a day of fun. The shades of eye makeup are rather subtle and then there is a random bright shade thrown in the mix. This seems to be a collection that I am more likely to find staple shades in and not one that I would feel inspired to take a risk and try something totally foreign to me...
Here is the new collection from Urban Decay...
Eye Shadow - Urban Decay’s groundbreaking new eye shadow formula. This reformulation of Urban Decay’s eye shadow features even softer, amazingly velvety texture; richer, more dense and decadent color; smoother, more uniform pigment distribution and blendability; and longer-lasting, more crease-free wear. The new line of shadows features a completely revamped assortment of shades, new textures, and a totally redesigned token compact. The secret to the new formula is Urban Decay’s Pigment Infusion System™, a vehicle for color that holds tightly to pigment and gives the formula its glide. The proprietory blend of ingredients allows color to weave itself through the formula resulting in insane color payout, color that stays on your lids, and sparkle that doesn’t fall. The amazing technology works for every shade and finish. Every Urban Decay shade is silky, blendable, and stays put. The new assortment of shades features bestselling favorites, all new shades, and several shades previously available in past palettes. Packaging was inspired by NYC subway tokens; the chromed gunmetal compact with a clear window allows you to see your shade and pop your shadows out and into one of the new customizable palettes.
- Easy Baked - light bronze shimmer
- Desperation - gray taupe brown matte
- Laced - pink taupe matte
24/7 Glide On Shadow Pencil - A crease-proof, waterproof shadow pencil. This 24/7 shadow pencil allows you to blend shimmer, cream, and sparkle finishes. Skip the traditional powder shadow, brushes, and water. These convenient pencils make it easier than ever to get vibrant eye shadow looks on the go.
- Mushroom - warm pale gray shimmer
- Noise - bright pink with silver sparkle
Build Your Own Palette - A collectible, customizable palette for convenient travel. Urban Decay’s redesigned shadows pop out of their compacts and into customizable Build Your Own Palettes to create the ultimate travel-friendly collection. Choose from their massive selection of nudes; vibrant hues; and deep, dark shades to create your own unique combination, then swap out all four whenever the mood strikes. While the Build Your Own Palette is here to stay, this design will only be available for a short time, so get it while you can! All Urban Decay Eyeshadows feature their Pigment Infusion System™, the proprietary blend of ingredients that gives every shade its velvety texture, rich color, serious staying power, and blendability.
De-Slick Mattifying Powder - A translucent mattifying powder. This shine-stopping pressed powder blots oil and keeps shine at bay. The lavender shade applies invisibly and works on every skintone. Try it on naked skin (if you run into the hot guy at the gym), or over foundation (for touch ups on the dance floor without destroying your makeup). Because the formula contains super lightweight, oil-absorbing rice powder, you won't feel the powder, but you'll see the shine-free results. This powder comes in a gorgeous, transparent purple compact that seems to glow from within and features Urban Decay embellishments of skulls, flourishes, and flowers. Pop it open to reveal a mirror and handy puff applicator.
There is nothing in this collection that I really dislike but there is nothing that really gets me excited, I like many of these shades and would use them but none of them are must haves. My favorite pieces of the collections are the Eye Shadow shades, all three of them would work very well with any of the neutrals in my shadow collection. I use all kinds of neutrals with both of the Urban Decay Naked Palettes and am interested in finding more shades that I could mix with these neutrals. The Eye Shadow Pencil in the neutral shade is the last piece of eye makeup that I would be interested in this collection (for the exact same reasons as the Eye Shadows). No big loves but I would like to use many of these new shades.
The Mattifying Powder interests me the most in this collection, I would like to add a product like this to my collection for the hottest of the summer days. I would use this product sparingly and mostly to touch up my skin throughout the day. Again, a product that I would like but not really need.
Overall, this collection is really disappointing and there is nothing that inspires me from this small group of products. Hopefully we have some more exciting collections on the way very soon.

Bobbi Brown Summer 2013 Collection - Nude Beach
The past two days, we talked about some of my new favorites in all the products that I have purchased in this past few weeks and today we are going to return to the summer collections so that I can keep planning my summer makeup shopping. Bobbi Brown is a makeup line that I have recently been obsessed with and I am very happy to see that their newest collection for the summer months has been released. These limited edition collections sell out almost instantly at the counter near me and sell out very quickly at Sephora also, I have learned the hard way that I have to watch for the release of the limited edition collections and then order the products as quickly as I can from the website or from Sephora, by the time that the goodies hit the counter, there is usually very little left to choose from. Time to start working on my next Sephora order...
Every year, Bobbi Brown puts out a beach-inspired collection, it is often one of her best selling collections and always a favorite of mine. I am very much looking forward to visiting the beach a few times this summer and I love any type of product that reminds of swimming in the ocean and playing in the sand. From Bobbi Brown herself, "The beach has always been my happy place. I love the relaxed vibe, less-is-more attitude and the beachy, bronzy glow on people's faces. The Nude Beach collection is a no-brainer way to create that look. It's relaxed, easy, and gorgeous - what summer beauty is all about." I already see a very pretty duo bronzer in this collection and a few lip glosses that I would be very happy to own!
Here is the Nude Beach collection from Bobbi Brown!
Face and Body Bronzing Duo - Bobbi's cult classic bronzer goes double-duty for face and body so you get a true all-over glow. Use each shade separately or blended together - the generous compact makes it easy to sweep bronzer over the face, neck, décolletage and arms. Simply use our Bronzer Brush or Face Brush to create a sun-kissed, natural-looking tan whether you're headed to the beach (or want to look like you just came from one). This bronzer duo comes in a light-medium tan and medium-deep tan.
Long Wear Cream Shadow Stick - Effortless and high impact-that's the essence of NEW Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick. This do-it-all formula glides on tug-free and can be used to shade, define, smoke up and highlight eyes. In subtle to eye-popping shades that last for up to 8 hours without creasing, flaking or fading, it's a stroke of genius. Just swipe on and go.
- Sunlight Gold - gold beige
- Golden Bronze- deep bronze sugar
Sheer Color Cheek Tint - Our beloved blush formula is back with a newly designed, more luxurious look. Featuring the same easy twist-up application, this sheer, tinted formula glides on smooth and blends in beautifully for a failproof flush of natural looking color on cheeks every time.
- Nude Beach - golden pink bronze
- Summer Pink - sheer bright pink
- Sunlit Nude - golden pearl pink
Tube Tint - We brought back our most popular shades from past collections for these pretty, hint-of-color glosses. Four limited edition shades in easy-to-use tubes give lips a sheer, beachy tint - wear them solo or over your favorite lipstick-without ever feeling heavy. Ideal for warm weather beauty.
- Bronzed Pink - golden bronze pink
- Naked - nude brown
- Pink Cloud - bright light pink
Shimmer Nail Polish - Dress up nails with long-lasting shimmer (it's Bobbi's favorite way to accessorize hands and toes). Pearlescent color casts nails in the starring role with a range of chic, shimmering shades.
- Pink Pearl - shimmering pink
Sunless Tanning Gel for Face and Body - Bikinis optional: Get a natural-looking tan (that lasts) without spending any time in the sun. Our lightweight, gel formula delivers warm, healthy-looking, buildable color so you can decide how "deep" you want your sun-kissed glow to go. Can be used on both the face and body. This oil-free formula is non-acnegenic and dermatologist-tested too.
Beach EDT - It's the same scent, but with a new look - Bobbi's best-selling fragrance gets an update in a sleek bottle. Designed with a lightly intoxicating blend of sand jasmine, sea spray, and mandarin, Beach captures the atmosphere and attitude of summer. This eau de parfum is wearable anytime, anywhere.
I love this collection, this might be one of my favorites of the entire season! I think that this is the first collection all season that I have wanted every single product from and would have a hard time choosing my top choices. I want products for my eyes, lips, cheeks, and the fragrance from this collection. I have coveted this fragrance for a few summer seasons now but it somehow always takes a back burner when I visit Sephora, it is online only and I tend to purchase more fragrances in the store than any other item. I will have to clear a spot on my dresser for this fragrance as this is one of the best fragrances for the warm weather. That will not be easy but I will try to get it accomplished by Memorial Day.
I love the new shades of the Long Wear Cream Shadow Stick, I love the lighter gold shade the most but I would like to own both of them as I tend to use more cream eye shadows in the summer and both shades will be very flattering for my eye and skin color. The lighter shade will go right onto my Most Wanted list for June. The other item that is going right onto my Most Wanted list is the Sheer Cheek Color Tint is the pink shade, Summer Pink. This bright pink will be another perfect shade for me and I must have this product. I also must have the Tube Tint in the bright pink shade too, Pink Cloud is a great sheer pink lip gloss and I want to add this to my already huge pink lip gloss collection. The Shimmer Nail Polish shade is very pretty, I would like to have it as I will wear it all the time but it's not a must have since I have a shade very close to this from China Glaze already. I also wouldn't mind trying the formula of self tanner that is from this company too, I love my Bath and Body Works self tanner but it wouldn't kill me to have a couple formulas to choose from if it is ever discontinued or sold out. My current back ups are Clarins and St. Tropez, however both of these formulas tend to sell out very quickly at Sephora so I would love to have at least five formulas that I can trust and find pretty easily (without having to stoop to the horrid formulas that I have tried at CVS).
It goes without saying that I must try the bronzer out from this collection, my search for another brozner is still continuing and this one looks like a great choice. I just love this collection and every product in this collection is perfect for me and the look that I am craving for the summer months!

Illamasqua Summer 2013 Collection - Paranormal
Last night was my last final of the semester and today I am celebrating the end of the semester by looking at the new summer collection from one of my absolute favorite companies. I have been hooked on Illamasqua for about two years now and every product that I buy from them makes me love the brand even more, I have never been disappointed by a product from this company and I doubt that I ever will. The Nail Varnishes are one of my absolute favorites from my product collection, followed very closely by the Lipsticks and the Blushes. I am very excited to see what new shades have been introduced in these products...and everything else that has come out in the summer collection.
The new collection is called Paranormal and it promises to be one of the most unique collections of the summer. This company has never produced a dull collection and leads the pack every single season with creativity and trend setting shades. This is the first collection where Illamasqua has introduced a primer and I am really excited to order this primer, I live for primers and I want to try the newest one from this fabulous product line!
"Illamasqua is opening the doorway to a new dimension. Dare to come in? Go where you have never been before. Give in as beauty takes control. It is time to awaken the aura you have repressed for so long, and explore a new universe of unexpected textures and formulas. Embrace the distorted reflection in a cracked mirror; the candle that suddenly extinguishes in a sealed room; a window has opened, allowing you to penetrate the fragile membrane of a twin existence, the paranormal world. After all, why be normal, when you can be Paranormal?"
Here is the newest from a favorite brand of mine!
Paranormal Palette - This unique water-resistant eye shadow can't quite decide if it's a cream or powder. Instead it combines the best of both worlds, delivering the textured silky appearance of a powder, but with the deep colour wash of a cream. With a long-lasting hold, each shadow's silky texture allows for effortless application and blending. Choose from Paranormal (vivid cerise), Aura (warm copper), Trance (soft violet) or Possession (cool green).
- Paranormal - vivid cerise
- Aura - warm copper
- Trance - soft violet
- Possession - cool green
Fine Eye Liner Brush with Cover - A fine eye liner brush which is ideal for make-up bags and travel as it is stored in its own detachable handle to protect the brush when stored. Perfect to create a controlled flick eye liner style.
Precision Gel Liner - Soon to be the mainstay in the make-up bags of every beauty enthusiast, Precision Gel Liner recreates the fluidity of a liquid liner in the ease of a gel. Creating a smooth, rich black line from the first application, the long-lasting and water-resistant formula is guaranteed to stay in place all day. Apply Precision Gel Liner with an Illamasqua Brush and remove using waterproof make-up remover.
- Infinity - deep black cream
Hydra Veil - Create a radiant finish with Hydra Veil's instantly rehydrating, gel formula. Providing the optimal base for your make-up, apply before foundation with an Illamasqua Brush.
Lipstick - Let your lips speak volumes. Indulge in colour-intense lipstick with a highly pigmented formula, available in a choice of flawless finishes, from creamy matt to iridescent finishes. Illamasqua Lipstick glides on smoothly and doesn't give up without a fight for the perfect all-night pout. A must have for professional make-up artists, and those who want to make a statement.
- ESP - vivid violet, matte finish
- Posture - cool mauve, matte finish
Gleam - Back by popular demand, and with a new and improved formula, Gleam's lightweight, iridescent finish sensuously highlights the natural beauty of your face and body. A solid, cream compact, containing lustrous pearlescent pigments. Smooth Supernatural (warm bronze iridescent) over skin with fingers or a brush for an alluring glow that lifts and highlights wherever it's applied. This is light-reflecting beauty.
- Supernatural - warm bronze
UV Glow Nail Varnish - Take your nails into the next dimensions with limited edition UV Nail Varnish from the Paranormal collection. Alone, each shade delivers bold, high-impact colour with a distinctive shimmer finish. But when worn under UV light they take on a life of their own, emitting a standout glow that cannot be ignored.
- Seance - paranormal bright violet
- Ouija - paranormal bright pink
- Omen - paranormal bright green
UV Glow Paranormal Top Coat - Take your nails into the next dimensions with limited edition UV Nail Varnish form the Paranormal collection. Alone, each shade delivers bold, high-impact colour with a distinctive shimmer finish. But when worn under UV light they take on a life of their own, emitting a standout glow that cannot be ignored. Apply clear Paranormal Top Coat in Geist over any nail varnish to created a glowing finish.
This isn't my favorite Illamasqua collection, I only like a couple of the products in this collection and there are only two items that I really must have. The first item is the Hydra Veil, the new primer from this line. The gel formula sounds as though it will be light enough to use in the warm weather months but will also be hydrating enough to use in the fall and winter. The description of this product reminds of the formula of my beloved MAC Prep and Prime and I want to order this product as soon as I see it on the Sephora website.
The seond item that I must have from this collection is the black cream eye liner, I already own one that I love from Smashbox but it wouldn't kill me to branch out and try other formulas. My pot of Smashbox liner is getting old so i will need to start thinking about replacing it in a few months and I want to try some other brands when I buy new liners. I get great results from all kinds of cream eye liners and I want to branch out and try more formulas.
I am only considering one other item from this collection, the UV Glow Nail Varnish Top Coat. This product will turn any polish into the UV finish and will be a better purchase for me rather than buying the UV Nail Varnishes themselves. I doubt that I would use these polishes very often and the top coat would be the best bet for me. I already own bright pinks and purples from Illamasqua and this top coat would turn them into shades very similar to the pink and purple offered in the UV range. I don't like the green shade and would never wear it so i will be completely skipping over the UV Nail Varnish range.
I really dislike most of the rest of this collection, the palette is much to dramatic for me to ever pull off so I will be skipping over it. This product promises to be a best seller, it is sold out already on the Illamasqua website and the Sephora website also. I can see this being a top choice for someone who loves bright eye makeup shades but they are not my style. Neither Lipstick shade will work for me, this company's Lipsticks are very dramatic and pigmented and therefore I never buy any shade that I am not totally sure that I would love. So both of these are out.
This might be one of my least favorite Illamasqua collections, I would hoping for a few neutral hues to mix with the brights. I could only pull off small pieces of this collection and will only pick up a few items from it.

Lancome Summer 2013 Collection - Aquatic Summer
May is finally here and that means that I have one final left between me and a nice, long, relaxing summer vacation! As far as I am concerned, summer shopping season is now in swing and I will be ordering from Sephora to celebrate the end of this semester, even though I just ordered for their Friends and Family Event, I still have another list of items that I want to buy and am getting yet another order together! I am so excited to spend a whole summer blogging and reading good books...even though I will begin to start reviewing old textbooks for my fall classes by the beginning of July! I am counting the hours until my last final and am taking some time away from studying to look at another summer collection right now!
Today I am all about the new Lancome collection, I still have not yet ordered a second bronzer for the summer months and I know that Lancome creates fabulous bronzers. It goes without saying that a bronzer will be in my next Sephora order so right now I am skewing my summer collection coverage to companies that have been known in past seasons for top rated and award winning bronzer formulas. Today we are looking at Lancome and I am hoping that both Clinique and Clarins have their summer collections up now or will have them up within the next few days!
Lancome's summer collection is named Aquatic Summer and contains more than one formula of bronzer along with some new shades of their famous nail polish formula. The collection is comprised of products that contain shades of bronzes and aquas for all features of the face. The Macy's website has additional description of the collection that the Lancome website does not so I will provide that one for all of you. "Lancôme invites you to plunge into our Aquatic Summer Color Collection. Ultramarine greens and electric blues echo cool spontaneity, while warm summer rays transform into golden glows. Bronzed skin, glossy lips and nails, and a customized eye look is the perfect way to transition from the winter blahs into summer sizzle."

O D'Azur - Carefree. Enticing. Surprising. Drift away on a sensual voyage off the Mediterrean coast with Ô D'AZUR. The fruity-floral scent captures the feeling of relaxed sensuality on a late summer afternoon where the warm golden sand is complimented by the sparkling blue ocean. Top Notes: Sicilian Bergamot, Calabria Lemon essence. Heart Notes: Rose, Peony. Base Notes: Modern woody notes, Musk.
I am really interested in four products in this collection; the bronzer palette, the bronzer, the new nail polish shades, and the perfume. At this point in the season, I am nearly done buying any warm weather perfumes, by the time that I begin to find room for the bottles on my dresser and begin using them, fall will be just around the corner and they will end up just taking up space on my dresser as I want to get more into heavier fragrances. That being said, I will need to try this at the counter and then maybe put a bottle aside for next spring, the mixture of rose, peony, and the light citrus scents could be a great fragrance for me and a staple in my fragrance line up.
As much as I want a new bottle of perfume now, I need to look at the color products as these are what I am much more likely to be buying right now. My top priority is another bronzer formula, I think that I will start off with the traditional single bronzer, then if I like that formula I might consider purchasing the palette that has the bronzer inside. The website didn't give much of a description of what shade is contained in the palette or if there are more than one shade of bronzer that is available in the palette. This might have to be seen at the counter before I order it.
I want every single shade of the nail polish, one of the last products that I should be growing my collection of! All of the blues are great shades and are different than the blues that I already own. Everyone knows that I cannot resist any shade of blue polish and these are three great blues! I have never used a nail polish from Lancome before and now I feel that I need to start collecting polishes from this new formula.
I must concentrate on finding another bronzer formula for the summer even though I keep getting distracted by fragrances and nail polishes. I am hopeful that Lancome formulas are really as good as all the hype surrounding them and I can't wait to find you!

NARS Pierre Hardy for NARS Nail Polish Collection
So far this season we have already seen one new collection from NARS and now the second one has been released. The same type of occurrence was done last summer, there was the traditional summer color collection and then a series of nail polish shades came out very soon after that. NARS is taking the same path this summer, the traditional color collection was released about two weeks ago and now I see that the NARS and Pierre Hardy collection of nail polishes are up on the NARS website. I have seen pictures of these polishes in magazines for the past month and they are said to be the best polishes of the entire summer and almost every article about new trends in manicures and pedicures contains at least one or two of these polish shades. I believe that one article contained every single shade from this collection and that got me very excited to see when this line got released.
These polishes are sold in pack of two bottles, one shade designed for manicures and the other designed for complementing pedicure. I have seen the most pictures of a duo that contains a yellow and a purple hue and also of a duo that contains an orange and a deep blue. I also see that this collection contains two shades of what I believe are blush. I had seen these at Sephora before any of the polishes were released and now I know what collection that they are part of. I originally wondered if they were part of the summer collection but we saw that they weren't and then I wondered if they were just a new product that I hadn't seen yet. Now I have my answer...
This collection is all about contrasting and complementary shades and I believe that many of these nail polish duos are going to be some of the best polish shades for the summer months. I am also excited to see if there is a blush shade for me in the two new ones that I have come out for Pierre Hardy for NARS.
Here is Pierre Hardy for NARS!
Pierre Hardy for NARS Blush - Limited edition high voltage blush palette with a shimmering pressing of Pierre Hardy's iconic avant-garde print. Natural, healthy-looking finish that immediately enlivens the complexion. Silky texture. Micronized powder ensures soft, blendable applications. Inspired by the designer's 2013 high-fashion shoe collection, the Pierre Hardy for NARS collection also includes six nail polish pairs presented in the spirit of his signature shoebox packaging for ultra modern couplings of conceptual color.
- Boys Don't Cry - pink grapefruit
- Rotonde - tiger lily
Pierre Hardy for NARS Nail Polish Pairs - Inspired by his 2013 high-fashion shoe collection, Pierre Hardy infuses his ultra modern color palette into limited edition nail polish pairs, presented in the spirit of his signature shoebox packaging. These two complementary shades selected by Hardy may be worn together or separately -- hands, toes, anything goes. Sets includes two nail polishes and Pierre Hardy for NARS signature mini-shoebox and dust bag. Incredible luster and prolonged gloss retention. Long-wearing, durable chip-resistant finish. UV protection to prevent polish discoloration. Toluene, formaldehyde and DBP free. The Pierre Hardy for NARS collection also includes two high voltage blushes with shimmering pressings of the avant-garde designer’s iconic prints. Pierre Hardy for NARS —an ultra modern coupling of conceptual color.
- Ethno Run - orange/navy
- Sharplines - peach/burgundy
- Vertebra - coral/dusty rose
- Easy Walking - rose gold/camel
- Sharks - yellow/lavender
- Venemous - gunmetal/black
Sharks is my favorite combination and this is the one that was in all the beauty magazines and featured on all the beauty blogs, I might have a hard time getting my hands on it soon but I will be holding out for it over the next few weeks. Sharks is my favorite but I still have several other duos that I would like to order. Venemous is my second favorite, I will use this one in the fall and winter months and both of these shades will be staples in my polish collection. Vertebra is the last duo that I want, this one will be best for summer and the coral shade will only work against tanned skin. I don't love the other duos enough to order them, I love the rose gold shade and the navy shades but not the others in the duo so I will look to see if I can find similar shades from China Glaze or another one of my favorite polish companies. I will round out my shopping of this collection with the Boys Don't Cry shade of the limited edition Blush shades.
There is nothing that I love more than a NARS collection and this one doesn't disappoint!

Estee Lauder Summer 2013 Collection - Bronze Goddess
The Estee Lauder summer collection is either exactly the same or very similar every single summer, this is the third year in a row that the collection has been named Bronze Goddess and I now wonder if all the products are the same yet again. I have admired pieces of this collection in the past but I have never been able to get my hands on any of the pieces that I really love, many of the palettes and limited shades sell out very quickly and I have had to get on waiting lists for some of the items. However, none of the waiting lists have ever come to fruition and the counters never really restocked fast enough to fill the whole demand. The one piece of this collection that I was the most excited about when the collection was brand new was the Bronze Goddess fragrance but I was sorely let down the first time that I tried it. I imagined a coconut vanilla fragrance with a sophisticated mix of tropical gardenia but the fragrance smelled heavier of vanilla and musk than I would have liked it to.
I do see some new pieces in this collection and some that I know that I have looked at in previous collections. I see a lip gloss rollerball on here that takes me right back to when I was in elementary school and first started being allowed to wear clear lip gloss, I might just purchase this product for the novelty value but I would hope that I could find a shade in it that I would actually like to wear. I am also excited to view the bronzers in this collection as this is yet another company that is known in the beauty industry for having great bronzer shades and formulas.
This season I do not see the fragrance included in this collection but I did see it earlier this month at the counter so I know that it is still available if anyone wants to purchase it for themselves. Personally, if I am looking for a beachy fragrance, I prefer Bobbi Brown's Beach and I would rather purchase a bottle of that for this summer.
Here is the newest summer collection from Estee Lauder!

A sensuous, sun-drenched blend of Bergamot and Mandarin, cooled with Tahitian Gardenia Petals and Coconut, warmed with Amber, Sandalwood and Vetiver. All heat. All desire. All woman.
I will have to try the newer version of the fragrance and decide if the lighter and more citurs version will suit me for the summer months. Citrus scents and I haven't always gotten along well so this version of the scent might not be any more to my liking than the original version, I might just have to concede that this is not a series of fragrances for me. Maybe the makeup part of this collection will just work better for me...
I missed out on the eye shadow palette last year, I wanted that product more than any others in this collection and now I have the chance to try and get it again. I am a bit afraid that it will be sold out at my favorite counter again this year and I will try to search for it on several different department stores' websites. This is the one and only item that I was really unhappy about not getting last year and I would love for this year to be more successful in that regard! The other item that I really want is the rollerball lip gloss and I am happy to say that I don't just want it for the packaging, I love the pink hue that is comes in and I don't really have any watermelon colored glosses. Most of my pinks are much cooler than this one but I have high hopes for this shade against a summer tan. I cannot wait to try this lip gloss out!
The last item that I am really excited about from this collection is the double sided eye liner pen, I already needed a black pen and I love to use gold eye liner shades on my eyes and this product is just the best of both worlds. I wanted this product from the moment that I first checked out the collection, I am really excited for three pieces of the collection however nothing else in it really jumps to my attention. I will be more than happy if I can get my hands on the palette, the lip gloss, and the duo eye liner!

Zoya Summer 2013 Collection - Stunning and Irresistible
We are almost at the end of the month and almost every single summer collection is now out. Between getting ready for finals and lots of new beauty products and collections, I am going to be a very busy girl over the next few weeks. I am very excited for the end of the semester but I always miss school within a few days of being down with finals and then I begin collecting books that relate to my fall classes and start reviewing the material before the end of June. I guess I am just the eternal nerd and will be a student for life!
But back to beauty! I am very excited to add some new nail polish shades to my collection season, I have found new loves in shades from Nails Inc and more favorites from lines that I have loved for several years now. The next lines that I try will be Julep and Zoya, my salon carries Zoya so it will be very easy for me to pick up a shade or two the next time that I get my hair done. Maybe I will even get a manicure to celebrate the end of the semester by scheduling a manicure and pedicure myself!
Zoya's summer collection is named Stunning and Irresistible, two words that I would love to have used to described my personal style. This collection is actually comprised of two smaller collections, each have a variation of the same shades with different finishes. We have seen this concept for many companies over the past few years and I usually end up liking multiple shades and then wasn't them in both of the finishes that are offered by the company. I am envisioning one finish on my fingers and the other one on my toes, I would love to see this collection at my salon and then I could get my manicure and pedicure done in the shade variations.
We will start with the Stunning part of the collection. "Just like the sun... You are the center of it all!" This is the part of the collection that contains the creams, I believe that the other part of the collection will be more popular but I personally really love cream finishes and want to look at the more basic shades first.
- Darcy - Zoya Nail Polish in Darcy can be best described as a full-coverage, sunny yellow cream.
- Thandie - Zoya Nail Polish in Thandie can be best described as a full-coverage, citrus orange cream.
- Micky - Zoya Nail Polish in Micky can be best described as a full-coverage, amazing coral cream.
- Josie - Zoya Nail Polish in Josie can be best described as a full-coverage grassy green cream.
- Rocky - Zoya Nail Polish in Rocky can be best described as a full-coverage serene blue cream.
- Yana - Zoya Nail Polish in Yana can be best described as a full-coverage, Geranium pink cream.
The Irresistible part of the collection will be the more coveted of the two, I can already see fans of Zoya going crazy for some of these metallic and foil hues and they are much more unique than the first part of the collection. I am betting that these are the shades that will sell out in days of hitting Ulta and the website and we will see if my prediction is correct!
- Amy - Zoya Nail Polish in Amy can be best described as a full-coverage, red orange foil metallic.
- Tinsley - Zoya Nail Polish in Tinsley can be best described as a full-coverage, rose gold foil metallic.
- Bobbi - Zoya Nail Polish in Bobbi can be best described as a full-coverage, hot magenta pink foil metallic.
- Hazel - Zoya Nail Polish in Hazel can be best described as a full-coverage, blue green foil metallic.
- Rikki - Zoya Nail Polish in Rikki can be best described as a full-coverage fern green foil metallic.
- Kerry - Zoya Nail Polish in Kerry can be best described as a full-coverage, yellow gold foil metallic.
Both parts of the collection are offered in single bottle or sets of six that contain all of the bottles in that part of the collection. In both cases, there is at least one or two shades that I do not like and would never wear so I can rule out buying either of the six packs. From the Stunning part of the collection, my favorite shade is the blue hue, Rocky. This bright blue is cooler and less aqua than China Glaze's For Audrey and would fill a hole in my polish collection. The rest of the colors that I want are: Josie and Yana. I think that the Irresistible part of the collection is the harder of the two to wear and the shades that I would be more likely to use in pedicures during the work week and then would only use in manicures when I am getting dressed up and going out. The shades that I want in the second part of the collection are: Bobbi, Tinsley, and Hazel. Hazel is my favorite shade of the whole collection and this icy metallic blue would really set off tanned skin so I am very excited to try this one out!

Tarte Summer 2013 Collection - Aqualillies for Tarte
The summer collection from Tarte might be one of the most anticipated collections of the whole season, this collection was made in combination with the Aqualillies. The Aqualillies are an all female synchronized swimming group that contains some of the most lovely and talented women in the water today. Working in the water all the time means that these ladies need makeup that will stay perfectly in place for every practice and performance, regular waterproof makeup might hold up to a day at the beach but will not stay in place during a swimming routine. It is pretty obvious that a team of synchronized swimmers would need some very high performance and special makeup items to keep their faces on in the water. Where the need arose...Tarte decided to team with the ladies and make their summer collection based off of makeup products that will create lovely looks but stay in place through all the elements. And what better season than summer to test out products that will stay in place at the beach, the pool, during a thunderstorm...
This collection contains high performance products for every facial features and even a great self tanner to keep the bronze glow alive all summer long. I already see a palette that I would love to own when looking at the first screen shot of this collection and a new shade in the Amazonian Clay Waterproof Eye Liner that I want to add to my collection of shades from this product. I love so many pieces of this collection and Tarte edges closer to being one of my five favorite makeup brands with every passing season and product that I purchase from them! The palette is still my favorite product from this collection and I would wear the shades contained in it all throughout the summer and then into the cooler weather. With the exception of the bright robin's egg blue eye shadow shade, all the neutrals will be easy for me to wear and will mix well with other shades that I already own. I might be inspired to try the blue shade in my crease and mix it with two neutrals, I will report back if this happens to occur and I purchase the palette. There have been so many great palettes this season and I still expect to see even more over the next two months!
My second favorite piece is the combination bronzer and blush product, I love to wear peachy pink blush shades when I have a fake tan and this will allow me to find both a new bronzer and a new blush shade. I am bit hesistant about using a gel bronzer as I have only ever used powder bronzers before but I want to try this new type of bronzer out for myself. The other product that I am very curious about is the other tanner from this collection, I would love to use a self tanner and bronzer from the same company that will layer and blend very nicely. I would love to see MAC come out with self tanner that were in the same shade range as their best selling bronzers!
I also want some of the basics from this collection, I have already touched on the new shade of the Amazonian Clay Eye Liner and I am actually in the market for a new black eye liner shade. The other item that I want is the Maracuja Eye Cream, I love the Pure Maracuja Oil and would love to see the results of this ingredient around my eyes.
The only way that this collection could be improved for me is if the lipstick shade wasn't that bright coral. I wish that more colors were offered because I would love to have a bright berry or pink hue that will last through the elements. I guess that I can't have everything...
