MAC & Marcel Wanders

This collection is yet another collaboration from MAC, I am praying that they don't over do these and turn them into a disaster.  MAC has already done a collaboration with Marcel Wanders, the first one occured sometime last year and was one of the first in their series of collaborations.  Marcel Wanders is a Dutch design company, known for its unique concepts and forward thinking.  I believe that the products in the original collaboration were available only at freestanding MAC stores and on the website so I doubt that this one will be at counters either.  This is a very original collection, MAC has created limited edition packaging for these products that reminds one of the Marcel Wanders designs.

"In this continued collaboration with Dutch design dynamo Marcel Wanders, luxury formulas return in new shades and modern cult-collectible packaging with a new sleek chome finish.  We confess...we love working with Marcel Wanders!  Limited edition."  This is one of the best packaging that we have seen lately for MAC collections, I love when the company creates all the pretty packaging to match their new products.

I love the lip products in this collection just as I did in the first collection.  The Annemiek lipstick is my favorite shade in the collection, it is a light, sheer pink that will be very easy to wear in many types of eye makeup looks.  I love both the Julia and the Karin lip gloss shades, both of these are very sheer and have a hint of cool pink pigment.  This is a great collection for me to find some great new everyday lip shades. 

I am considering splurging on the Brush Clutch in this collection, I need something to safely carry my brushes when I put them in my brush and this one is beautiful (along with being practical).  I will have to sleep on this one and make a decision in a few days.  My only major complaint is that MAC doesn't tell us what the fragrance smells like, there is no way that I could order it from the website without some type of idea of what I would be getting...
