Lilly Pultizer Squeeze

The last fragrance that was released this spring from Lilly Pultizer is called Squeeze. This one is housed in a bright yellow bottle and it is more summery than springy, in my opinion. This one is citrusy, so this one really won't work for me but I must admit that I find the bottle supercute and fun.

Here is the description of the fragrance from the Sephora website, "Lilly Pultizer Squeeze is all about squeezing the juice of life! The signature citrus floral is bright and playful - with a whimsical charm. The fragrance sparkles with top notes of exotic lychee, juicy pink grapefuit, and candied red currant, which mingle with spring lotus blossom and wild rose petals. Sun-drenched woods and water musk complete the scent with a lilting, carefree flourish. This fresh essence is sure to inspire all colorful, imaginative, and confident Lilly lovers."

The notes are - Litchi, Grapefruit, Red Currant, Lotus, Rose, Woods, Musk

Even though this fragrance has rose in it, I still don't think that it is for me. Fragrances with strong citrus notes tend to go sour on me and I don't think that there is anything that can be done about that. I wouldn't mind having this fragrance in the body lotion or the candle, I also wish that it came in a shower gel or some form of body wash.

And what is litchi?

Lilly Pultizer Beachy

Earlier this spring, i talked about the first fragrance that was released by design house Lilly Pultizer. I was on the Sephora website when I realized that they released two more fragrances, in addition to Wink. One is called Beachy and one is called Squeeze. The one that we are going to talk about today is Beachy, we will save Squeeze for another day soon.

The first thing that I noticed about Beachy is that it comes in a beautiful aqua bottle and reminds me of the color of a tropical ocean. Here is the description of the fragrance from Sephora, "Take a vacation with Lilly Pultizer Beachy and discover that Palm Beach isn't just a place, it's a state of mind. Escape to the shore, no matter the season and lose yourself in a world of fun and relaxation. Beachy opens with notes of sliced watermelon, sunny citrus, and marine air accord. The heart blooms into an intoxicating bouquet of jasmine blossom, tiare flower, and lush frangipani. The sun sets on the fragrance with a blend of sea crystals, golden amber, and sweet vanilla. Follow the sun!" This sounds very much like an Island Micheal Kors type of fragrance, which for me is a good thing!

The notes are right here - Watermelon, Citrus, Marine Air Accord, Jasmine, Tiare Flower, Frangipani, Salt Crystals, Amber, Vanilla.

I am a little intrigued by the watermelon note in this fragrance, hopefully this won't turn me into a watermelon Jolly Rancher. I love any fragrace that has marine air in it and the notes of tropical flowers make this fragrance even more exciting for me.

This fragrance is already making me think of mini dresses and beaches. One point in summer beauty's favor!

Lilly Pultizer Wink

I am so in the mood to pick up some new fragrances, something spring like and pretty. In the January issue of Glamour, I noticed the new Lilly Pulitzer fragrance called Wink. I really liked it upon first reading the quick description and after looking it up on the Sephora website, I know that I really want to get it.

This is the description from the Sephora website, “See the world in pink and green with Lilly Pulitzer Wink. Enjoy every moment of every day with this delightfully pink, pretty, flirty celebration of feminine style and gusto. The fragrance unfolds with notes of sparkling pear nectar, watery pink freesia, and lush gardens, while a bouquet of rose, lily blossom, and sun-drenched violet reveals the scent's enchanting heart. The party wraps up with warm amber and sensual musk. This delightful floral captivates every Lilly Lover, whether she is shopping, lounging, or entertaining. Wear pink and make the boys wink!” I love both pink and green so this is my kind of fragrance. And we all know how I feel about roses!

Here are the notes - Pear Nectar, Freesia, Rose, Lily, Violet, Amber, Musk

I haven’t gotten a chance to get out and smell this fragrance yet but this is one that sounds so good to me that I might just have to order it without giving it a sniff test first. And the bottle? OMG! It is a pretty shade of pink with a bit of Lily fabric tied on it.

To match this fragrance, I will be looking at some Lilly dresses this spring and trying to channel the 1960s sophistication of Jackie O. Think it will work for me?
