Victoria's Secret Incredible

One of Victoria's Secret's biggest releases this spring was their Incredible bra.  And with it, the matching fragrance was released.  I haven't tried the bra on yet but I can state that the fragrance lives up to it's name and is my favorite fragrance from this company so far.  I have never been a fan of any of the Dream Angels or Garden Collection scents, so I nearly passed this one over.  So how did I come to try it?  Actually, I was shopping with my friend in the store and there was an issue with one of the registers sdo while they were solving it, I was free to browse around.  She had already bought this perfume and was raving about it so I decided to try some on.  It quickly made my Most Wanted list and is tops on my shopping list next time I need to go to that store.

This fragrance is described as a fruity floral, but I found it to be so much more complex than that name implies.  "Be daring, be sexy, BE INCREDIBLE" is the description that the company has written on the fragrance.  The website states that the three major notes are "bright magnolia, sparkling pear, and sultry sandalwood".  The pear note is not all that strong on me but the other two really come out.

The top notes of this fragrance are: Juicy White Peach, Pear, Water Lily.  The heart notes are: Magnolia, Honeysuckle, Iris Flower.  The base notes are: Natural Vanilla, Sultry Australian Sandalwood, Liquid Musk, Coconut Milk.  Magnolia is a note that has always worked well with my skin chemistry so I wasn't very suprised when this fragrance was a hit on my skin.  The sandalwood and coconut milk are the other two notes that really come out on my skin, making this fragrance both warm and sophisticated at the same time.

The lasting power of this fragrance can also be called Incredible, this is one of those fragrances that goes strong all day for me and then I can continue to lightly smell after I shower in the evening.  Magnolia notes usually stick around for a long time on me but this one lasts longer than any other that I have ever tried.  I am confident that this fragrance would be a top pick for me for any day that I need my perfume to last and last.

One of my favorite aspects about Incredible is how versatile this fragrance is.  This one cound work very well for work since it is floral and not overly musky or fruity.  It is also so feminine that it would work well for a big date or a night out too.  It is rare to find a perfume as versatile as this one turned out to be.  This fragrance was a great choice for a spring release from Victoria's Secret and I am looking to forward grabbing a bottle next time that I am there.

Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Kiss N' Tell Collection

Victoria's Secret is mecca around Valentine's Day. It houses practically everything a lady needs for a fantastic Valentine's Day...for those who have a date/boyfriend/husband. For those of us who kinda try and forget that the holiday exists, it can be a huge slap in the face walking by the store in the mall. But if you go around all the pretty lingerie and items covered in hearts, you will find that they have released limited editions of their Beauty Rush products.

There are three fragrances that are being released. The first one is my favorite and is called Cupquake. It is a sweet, cakey cupcake scent that is very true to it's name. I really liked this one since I love cake anything. The second scent is called Berry Smooch. It is a sweet, candyish berry scent and I find it to be ok. I don't really like berry scents and their Juiced Berry I only like because it has a strong true berry note and nothing else clogging it up. The third scent is the one that I find the most interesing. It is called Cherry Bomb and is a pretty true cherry scent. I feel like I never see cherry scents in the mass market beauty products unless they are mixed with a pile of other notes. Of the three fragrances, Cherry Bomb may not have been my favorite but actually would be the one that I would be the most likely to purchase since I have a gap where cherry fragrances are concerned.

The three limited editions are all released in the following four products: Beauty Rush Double Mists, the 3 in 1s, the Body Glow Moisture Cream, and the Body Drink Lotion. I know that I will be purchasing none of the Double Mists since they are still continuing to produce the ones that have a oily feel on the skin. They must have wide appeal since Victoria's Secret continues to produce them and brings them out in the new fragrances but I personally cannot stand the feel on my skin. I love the 3 in 1s, this formula is just perfection and somehow is the right combination of cleansing but still not drying my skin out. There is not one fragrance that I wouldn't get in this formula. Between the two moisturizers, I would opt for the Moisture Cream since I need a bit of heavier hydration and prefer not to have to squeeze out the product as I do with the Body Drink lotion. However, as long as I get the 3 in 1s and one of the moisturizers, I won't sweat the details.

Victoria's Secret still may not be my favorite place to be around Valentine's Day. But having fun body products to buy makes it a bit easier for me to ignore the cooing women buying teddies to show off to their spouses.

Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Line

The Victoria's Secret Semi-Annual Sale is almost upon us. I know that everyone goes to this sale for the cute panties, bras, sleepwear, and the like. But today and tommorrow, we are going to look at some other reasons to hit up the sale. I am not really a fan of the traditional products but the Beauty Rush line has really captured my interest. The company recently redid some of this line, introduced a 3 in 1 body wash, and got rid of the glitter spiked products. There are currently six permanent fragrances in this collection and they introduce new fragrance that come out for each season. The seasonal fragrances usually only come out in lotions, mists, and lip gloss. I usually tend to avoid these limited time collections since I am not a fan of the lotions or the mists.

Here are the first three fragrances and tommorrow we will look at the other three.

The first fragrance is my favorite, Appletini. This fragrance first came out in 2005 in a limited edition summer collection at Bath and Body Works. This is the fragrance that never sold at my store so of course it was the one that I loved the most. I am actually on my last old bottle of it from that time period. This a light fragrance and reminds me of apple Jolly Ranchers instead of apple martinis. It is much sweeter than the smell of the drink, which is probably a good thing for sales of the scent. The company describes it a "cool, tart, sweetly intense treat".

The second fragrance is called Juiced Berry. I normally hate berry scents so I was really surprised when I tried this one on and fell in love with it. It contains none of the vanilla or musk undertones that most fragrances do. It is just clean, pure berry notes. This fragrance is quite sweet and many people state that it reminds them of a berry candy scent. The company describes it as a "blast of super ripe berries".

The third fragrance is called Honey Do and this is their newest fragrance. I love this one, it is cool, clean, fruity all at the same time. It smells exactly like honeydew melons and the scent of the cream lingers quite a long time after using it. This one has no description from the company but it you smell a honeydew, you will get this fragrance.
The fourth fragrance is Candy Baby. This one is the sweetest of all of the fragrances. It is a mixture of cotton candy and sweet vanilla notes. This one is a bit lighter than Pink Sugar and it a great fragrance for a someone who is not sure that they are ready to smell like a carnival. the company describes it as a "sweet puff of cotton candy".
The fifth fragrance is called Coconut Craze and I initially thought this was a true coconut fragrance when I sniffed it in the bottle but when it is applied to the skin, I can smell the coconut notes and pineapple notes. It reminds me very much of a pina colada.
The last fragrance is called Slice of Heaven. This is another sweet, gourmand fragrance. It is cakey and has some vanilla frosting notes in it. This one is also lighter than most gourmand fragrance on the market today. The company describes it as "a sugary slice of sweet vanilla cake". This is another great choice for someone who is just beginning to try sweet fragrances.
This line offers a fragrance mist, a 3 in 1 wash, and three forms of moisturizers.
Body Double Mist - Two layers of skin conditioners and fragrance mix things up for soft, scented skin.
Body 3 in 1 Wash for Shower, Bubble Bath, & Hair - A multi-task wash that's a triple treat! Moisture-rich shower gel, bubble bath, and shampoo with provitamin B5 leaves skin and hair soft and scented.
Body Glimmer Swirl Cream - Super-nourishing body cream with Provitamin B and shea butter quenches skin with shimmering moisture.
Body Drink Lotion - Natural skin conditioners make for a super-soft, moisture drenched bod.
Body Souffle Moisture Cream - A luminous take on weightless hydration. Fluffy souffle cream with nourishing aloe and avocado oil wraps skin in sweet, silky moisture.
I love all the fragrances for different reasons but I do have to state that my favorites are Candy Baby, Appletini, and Honey Do. My favorite products are the 3 in 1s, the glimmer cream, and moisture cream. The glimmer cream leaves a subtle shimmer that is great on summer bronzed skin. I do not like the oily feeling that the body mist leaves and the lotion is just an average lotion, the other hydrators are much better.
Grab some of these treats with your panties and bras!
