Urban Decay Spring 2010 Collection

As I am typing this, the hype surrounding the Alice Book of Shadows is continuing to grow at an exponential rate. With this as a previous, I am willing to bet that Urban Decay has some other amazing products coming out this Spring. I am never disappointed by Urban Decay and I know even if all they did was repackage old shades and give them new names, I would still swoon. But I doubt that they would ever consider doing that so we have a new crop of products and shades from this company to look forward to this season.

Let's check out what I will be lusting after all season...

Stardust Eye Shadow - It's something unexpected in eye shadow: an explosion of stars. Stardust Shadows' silky texture delivers an incredible amount of sophisticated, twinkling sparkle. Boasting 40% more glitter than our most sparkly shadows, Stardust delivers a sheer wash of color, topped with teeny bits of iridescent sparkle that glisten like wet snow. The glitter (a pricey ingredient called reflex) actually stays on your lids. No fallout, no chunky glitter...just stunning sparkling eyes. From uptown neutrals like black, gray, and brown to bright pops of turquoise, green, and purple, the galazy of shades helps create tons of looks, and blend well with our other Eye Shadows and range of 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils. The futuristic, squeeze-open case holds over TWO TIMES the amount of product in our other Eye Shadows. With all this Stardust, you'll be dreaming of date night at the laserium.
- 54 - light purple with iridescent sparkle
- Atmosphere - deep turqiouse with iridescent sparkle
- Bobby Dazzle - white with iridescent sparkle
- Diamond Dog - brown with iridescent sparkle
- Griffith - green with iridescent sparkle
- Moon Spoon - gray with iridescent sparkle
- Retrograde - dark purple with iridescent sparkle
- Space Cowboy - beige with iridescent sparkle
- Void - black with iridescent sparkle

Eye Shadow Primer Potion - Eden - An eye prep product that provides smoother, longer-lasting, and absolutely crease-proof eye shadow - and is now offered in a very-wearable, tawny, matte hue. Eye Shadow Primer Potions from Urban Decay are unmatched in the beauty industry! The genie in these bottles fulfills three wishes: eye shadow that lasts, more vibrant and lasting color, and absolutely NO creasing. Apply Primer Potion to lids before shadow application and it dries down almost instantly, creating smooth lids that are super-powered eye shadow magnets. Urban Decay offers several unique shades in their Eye Shadow Primer Potions, but all boost the same unbelievable function. Eden is matte-finish, tawny hue and gives you a stunning "no makeup" look when worn alone or complements other eye shadows worn in combination. Packaged in a pretty genie bottle, all these Potions are applied with a magic wand and flocked applicator.

Eye Shadow Primer Potion XL - Sin - A shimmering, champagne-hued primer that seriously ups the staying power of your eye shadow and now comes in a larger-than-life XL bottle (that's 60% larger than the original size!). This two-in-one beauty miracle combines the shimmering champagne shade of Sin - one of Urban Decay's best-selling eye shadows - with the staying power of their incredible Eye Shadow Primer Potion. Used alone, it's a crease-proof shadow. As a prep before your eye makeup ritual, it becomes an eye shadow magnet. But this power tool doesn't stop there! Use it on lids to perk up tired eyes, or dab it on the brow bone and cheeks for the perfect highlighter. You can even wear it in combination with other shadows and have it peek out as a highlight. If your look doesn't call for shimmer, don't worry, it won't show through your shadow. Sin goes on silky and is universally flattering, so whatever your look, Sin makes it last!

Razor Sharp Ultra Definition Finishing Powder - A high-tech translucent powder that provides a stunning, soft-focus effect, even under bright and unforgiving light. Designed for the stars of film and flat screens, this high-tech finishing powder contains silky, micro-fine particles that fool the eyes with "optical blurring" and micraculously seem to airbrush away skin's imperfections. It provides a smooth, flawless, soft-focus finish that flattering under even the harshest of lights. Use Razor Sharp as a finishing touch after foundation, or wear it alone to create a perfect "bare skin" look. However you apply it, you'll be addicted to the tiny refreshing water particles that float on skin's surface and burst when applied.

We have already gone over the Alice Book of Shadows so I feel no need to write it up all over again. On my next trip to Sephora, I think that I will be buying both of the Sin and Eden Primer Potions, I already love the original and I want to see how these measure up. I also want to test out the Finishing Powder against the one that I already love from Make Up For Ever. From the Stardust Eye Shadows, I must have the Space Cowboy shade. It looks as though it is very similar to Midnight Cowboy which I have been obsessed with in the past month. I just can't imagine it being more sparkly than the original but somehow it is going to be. The other shades that I want almost as much are 54, Bobby Dazzle, Moon Spoon, and Void.

Space Cowboy has captured my heart, I think this is going to be my new favorite "going out" shade...
