Bath and Body Works Deep Aqua

For their last new release of the Summer Vanillas, Bath and Body Works really hit the ball out of the park. All the fragrances became immediate sell-outs and are rumored to be becoming part of the permanent fragrance line from this company. Their newest fragrance and the last release before their sale in June is named Deep Aqua and is a member of the floral family of fragrances. However, this fragrance reminds me more of an Island Micheal Kors type of floral with tropical flowers and a bunch of water and ozonic notes instead of just a straight up flower market fragrance.

Bath and Body Works states the following in the description of the fragrance on their website, "Indulge your senses with our exclusive Deep Aqua, the pure and refreshing fragrance of ocean drenched flowers inspired by a beautifullworld underwater". The key fragrance notes are: Crisp Melon, Water Blossoms, Dewy Gardenia, and White Woods. This fragrance is available in the standard forms as well as some newer items. The three standard items are the typical Shower Gel, Body Lotion, the Body Splash, and the new Cooling Mists that many of the Signature fragrances has been released in. There are two new items that are exclusive to this fragrance and these are the two that we are going to look at today.

The first new item is the Skin Smoothing Shower Gelee. "With exflioating beads and skin-nourishing marine nutrients, our limited edition Skin Smoothing Shower Gelee is gentle enough to use every day, leaving skin feeling super soft, noticeably smooth, refreshed, and conditioned." The other new product is the one that I am the most excited about. This product is the Cooling Body Souffle, a gel-like hydrator. "Our limited edition Cooling Body Souffle is water-light and brekas on skin for a refreshing and cooling sensation. This unique formula is enriched with nourishing marine nutrients that help condition and soothe skin, leaving it feeling refresh and revitalized".

I am more excited about these new items than I have been in a quite awhile. Several years ago, Bath and Body Works had a French based line called Aquatanica Spa, which didn't sell very well and was quickly discontinued. However, I happened to be one of it's only fans and I loved the products to pieces, especially a hydrating body gel that looks exactly like this new one from the Deep Aqua line. So I hope that these are very similar formulas to the old gel cream and foaming body scrub. Here's to hoping that I can get to the mall within the new few days and everything isn't sold out already.
