When the forty days of Lent begin, I look at it as a countdown to spring instead of forty days of deprivation. However, seeing as how I never get through forty days of giving up candy, coffee, shopping, etc... Even though I am an adult, my mother still delights in filling me and my brother up baskets of candy to give on the holiday. Lately, she has been including beauty products in my basket.
