Chanel Lumieres Celestes Collection

Chanel has just released a new collection of Glossimers for the season. These are all Limited Edition and have the promise to be completely sold out in a matter of hours after hitting the counters. This collection is inspired by Coco Chanel's love of constellations and the stars. The shades in this collections are very sparkly and have been compared by many to the stellar Dazzleglasses that are consistent sellers from MAC.

"Discover a mesmerizing lip colour collection inspired by Mademoiselle Chanel's fascination with the constellations. Eight exquisite new shades of Levres Scintillantes Glossimer bring a brillant reflection of light to the lips." I am so excited to view these shades up close and personal.

Here are the lip shades...

- Cosmos - lilac with silver shimmer

- Jupiter - bright pink with silver shimmer

- Meteore - pale pink with gold shimmer

- Mica - pale pink gold with gold shimmer

- Mirage - lavender with silver shimmer

- Nebula - pale lavender with gold shimmer

- Silex - nude with gold shimmer

- Venus - magenta with silver shimmer

Chanel has also matched four shades of nail polish to these gloss shades. Chanel polish is major weakness of mine so now the company will sucker me into purchasing not only the lip glosses but nail polishes too.

- Cosmic Violine - deep lilac

- Mica Rose - pale pink

- Dazzling - pink red

- Allegoria - pale nude

First of all, I refuse to believe that these lip glosses are very similar to Dazzleglasses. Chanel lip glosses have much more pigment and color to them then the Dazzleglasses that I have tried so far. To be fair, Dazzleglasses are more about shimmer and sparkle than pigment. But I haven't tried all of the Dazzleglasses yet so I do need some other opinions on this point.

I want all eight lip gloss shades and all four nail polishes. The lure of the CCs...
