MAC Alive + Olivia

The first of the two new MAC color collections was created with design team Alice + Olivia. This collection consists of new shades of three current products and these are shades that I feel work best on the runway and would not for my real life. However, I can see these shades picking up a huge cult following and leading the way for many of the things we will see this fall. Many of the shades are bright and punchy enough that they can be worn from now all the way until the temperatures begin to turn cooler.

Alice + Olivia Pigment - A limited edition Pigment specially shaded and packaged for the MAC alice + olivia collection. Reflecting the influences of this hip-to-be-haute fashion label, the outer and inner sleeves feature a collage of elements from the label's Fall '10 mood board.

- Partylicious - turquoise with silver pearl

- Later. - black with transforming pearl

Alice + Olivia Dazzleglass Creme - As dazzling as the MAC alice + olivia collection, this limited Dazzleglass Creme sets itself up to be the perfect accessory. Sending the outer package into full a + o orbit, a collage of elements from the designer's Fall '10 mood board.

- Sparklicious - creamy pale pink white

- I.Want.Candy - hot yellow

- If it's pink - hot pink

Alice + Olivia Nail Lacquer - The all-out pretty-yet-edgy spirit of MAC alice + olivia collection gets captured in this one-of-a-kind Nail Lacquer. a + o aficionados will be hip to the graphic look of the outer packaging inspired by designer Stacey Bendet's seasonal mood board. Limited edition.

- So Rich So Pretty - bright purple with pearl (Frost)

- Morning.After - creamy turquoise

- Military - black matte with silver suede pearl

I love the three new nail lacquer shades, especially the So Rich So Pretty shade. These will be on the top of my shopping list. I also want the get the Pigment shade If It Sparkles..., I can see this working with tons of items that I already own and will be great to create some outstanding eye looks. The Dazzleglasses in this collection are not for me but I can see them being a craze, I am dying to see how the yellow shade looks on and I will be combing beauty blogs for pictures of this shade on.
