Guerlain 2011 Spring Collection - Sur Noire

I am very disappointed with the Guerlain spring 2011 collection, it consists of only two products. To top it off, none of the products are from the eye shadow collection, a star product in their makeup collection. I am sure that these two products are very high quality and worth their starring roles in the collection but I can't help but wish for more products in this collection. Two new products seems like a bit of a robbery for their fans who eagerly await their newest collections each season. The blush in this collection has appeared in many fashion magazines so far so I am sure that this product is very high quality and will be a top seller for the company.

Blush G Serie Noire - A mix of four complementary translucent and natural shades. Each with a subtle pink for natural blush undertone. Created to highlight the complexion. First, a black suedette pouch lined in fushcia satin. Inside is a case that jealously guards its secret. Shiny, smooth, and lacquered black, the case nestles in the palm of the hand. One click. The cover opens and the most ravishing of coloured stripes sppear in full light, stamped with a G in elegant calligraphy. When Rouge G becomes a powder, Guerlain invents the most luxurious of blushes. Energized orange, intense fuchisa, delicate pink, and pearly pink: four shades that make your cheeks flush pink. Rouge G Serie Noire - All the voluptuousness of Rouge G now declined in a temptress, black lacquered collection. This collector's edition hides its colours in a precious case, dressed in black lacquer and the seal of Guerlain. What's inside? The formula of the famous Rouge G in a light and creamy version. The rich and voluptuous texture adorns the smile in an ultra-sophisticated coloured caress. Lips are deliciously shiny, subtly tinted in springtime colours.

My favorite piece of the collection is actually the piece that I have heard the least about, I love the new lipstick shade and would purchase it before the blush compact. I like the blush compact and find the combination of shades very interesting. My major problem with shopping for this company's products are the availabilty of product. My local Sephora only carries the basics of the Terracotta collection so I either need to go to King of Prussia or New York City to buy any more than that. My favorite counters in the Saks in New York so next time that I am heading up that way, I will try to hit up Saks and try the blush compact out.
