LUSH Holiday 2010 Collection - Shower Products

We have already looked at the cult classic that is the Snow Fairy line. I have decided that for the rest of the LUSH holiday products, I am going to divide them into bath and shower products and check every single lovely LUSH product out. Last Christmas, I finally got a LUSH giftset with some of these products in so I am looking at trying some new products out this year and stocking up on some current favorites. Today is the shower products from LUSH...

Snowcake Bar Soap - For the softest, creamiest, most luxurious suds imaginable, grab a great big slice of Snowcake and float away on a cloud of almond marizpan and rose absolute. Snowcake smells exactly like our Smitten hand cream, and is an all time holiday favorite among staff and customers alike. It softens and cleans your body and scents it with a long-lasting almond fragrance. The blend of rose, cassie, and benzoin gives Snowcake its irresistable scent; but those oils are also great for the skin too. Your body will be silky smooth and ready to face the cold outside.

Angel's Delight Bar Soap - Angel's Delight is one of our LUSH Christmas classics and a best-seller every year. It is really hard to say what we love most about our heavenly holiday creation. There's the refreshingly fruity scent, bursting with tangerines and black currants. And the beautiful iridescent glitter mixed throughout a sea of bright purples, oranges, blues, and pinks. What about the adorable star and moon shapes throughout each slice? Oh, we give up! We love it all, and we have a sneaking suspicion you will too. Angel's Delight has a fantastic new look! Mark and Mo (LUSH co-founders) were inspired by a gigantic, golden moon shaped picture frame they happened upon in Venice. And we have to admit, we agree with her; Angel's Delight is stunning. If you really want to impress the guests at Christmas dinner this year, why not place a whole Angel's Delight on the table as a center piece?

Glogg Shower Gel - Glogg is a LUSH interpretation of a Swedish spin on festive mulled wine. While it may be tempting to take a swig of our festive shower gel, we recommend you save the warming effects of the organic red wine, brandy, and spice oils for the benefit of your body. Winter can put a chill into your bones and leave you with toe-siecles; heat things up, get the circulation going and get into a lather with this insteads. Glogg and Cinders are the duo for you if you find the cold of winter difficult to deal with and want to stroke the embers.

Buche de Noel Face Cleanser - Buche de Noel was around last Christmas, but it went by the name of Santa's Rice Porridge. It's back this year with a few tweaks; it's still fresh and preservative-free, but it's a fresh cleanser now. We think of Buche de Noel as nutritious pudding with a twist. There are fresh satsumas and a splash of brandy to tone and stimulate, kaolin to cleanse your pores and exfoliating almonds to scrub away dead skin. It even comes wrapped in seaweed with a decoration to give it the Christmas touch.

Mandarin's Tea Party Bar Soap - Stocking stuffers are a Christmas tradition all over the world. On the 25th, you can usually find satsumas, tangerines, or mandarins bulging in there, so we packed Mandarin's Tea Party with citrus oils and orange juice to give you some early morning refreshment. It has the same fragrance as our summery Orange Blossom perfume, and there are real dried orange slices throughout, along with soft chunks of crystallized ginger to add a little bit of sweet spice. This soap will help to keep you smiling in winter and it's perfect for any time, not just tea parties.

Snow Globe Bar Soap - When Mark and Mo went to look for Christmas inspiration, they chanced upon a giant snowglobe in the middle of Hyde Park that you could climb inside and be part of a festive scene! Mo was instantly convinced she needed to make an equally spectacular frosty globe of soap, with a refreshing lemon myrtle and grapefruit scent to lift your spirits on a cold dark day. The whole cake looks a beautifully serene snow globe with dots of white 'snow' throughout. It's a loving nod to a more traditional Christmas this year. Although this is a refreshing citrus soap, it has a different blend of sharper citrus oils to give you an invigorating wash morning or night. We've used organic lemon myrtle for a fresh, slightly herbal citrus note, and lemongrass to complement the fragrance. This soap goes perfectly in a bath cocktail with Uluru, Avobath, or You've Been Mangoed to shake the cobwebs off your tired brain.

Once a Year Massage Bar - Some people only give massages once a year, and spend the rest of the year grumbling away. We've created the perfect Massage Bar to get people massaging all year round, no matter how set in their ways they are. Hazelnut oil is deeply moisturizing on skin - without blocking pores. The scent is so delectable that you'll find giving one downright pleasurable, but no one guarantees getting one in return. The cheeky moustache and cocktail fragrance won't fail to start to start the motor running, thanks to Simon's blend of brandy, citrus oils, and a dash of almond essential oil. It just smells like a party waiting to happen. It'll happen once, twice, and every night until it's all gone.

Yeah, I added that massage bar in there at the last moment so that it had a place to go. I still have a bar of Angel's Delight left over from last year but the fragrance is so yummy that I will order a second one this year while I can. I want to buy Snowcake since I haven't tried it yet and have heard so many raves about it. The Snow Globe bar soap is just so lovely that I must have a piece of it and I would also liek to try Mandarin's Tea Party soap in hopes that all citrus in them will brighten up some bleak mornings. I can also use these fragrances into the warmer weather so maybe I will pick up an extra bar of one of them. Glogg intriques me but since I don't know how I will react with the cinnamon in it, I will start with the smallest bottle available of it. And the fact that I can get a Christmas face cleanser?! Buche de Noel is mine!
