MAC Holiday 2012 Gift Collection - Guilty Passions

MAC had a huge holiday release all at once at the very beginning of this month and now that we have been able digest them all and begin to get our shopping lists together...or even get one round of shopping in already, MAC has released another gift collection to keep their fans on the edge of their seats.  Guilty Passions is another gift collection that contains all kinds of cute little sets that will make anyone makeup lover on your list so very happy this holiday season.  I see three new lip gloss sets ion this collection and they have already captured my interest...I haven't bought a MAC Lipglass in way too long and buying a whole set of them will make up for me buying from other companies...

Guilty Passions contains six new gifts for this holiday season, three that contain Lipglass and three more that contain small Pigments.  I can't say that I am all that interested in the Pigments and I don't really believe that any of my friends would love it that much either but the Lipglass sets have the potential to be hits for myself and a bunch of the ladies on my gift list.  The MAC website states the following about the collection, "Give into Guilty Passions, from champagne and a dazzling party dress to eyes that shimmer and lips that glisten. M∙A∙C mini kits for eyes and lips packaged in round, chevron-print boxes trimmed with a bow, in shades and finishes too irresistible to resist."

I don't really love any of these sets, both for myself or to give as gifts.  I am sure that many people will love at least one or two of these sets but none of them are quite what I plan to give my friends this holiday season.  I do like the Lipglass sets and I could see one or two of my friends liking the Cocktail Coral set however the Lavish Rose contains shades that are slightly too odd to give as a gift.  I will stay away from the Pigment gift sets since I don't think any of the people on my hsopping list even use the Pigments and people either love or hate this product and tend to use them in all different ways.

A bit disappointing but MAC still has some other great options from the initial release several weeks ago...
